Current limits

The current Pluribus for ComfyUI product boundary and actions that still require human review or another system.

Pluribus is a record and workflow layer. It does not replace the creative tool, legal review, business affairs, or production approval.

Discovery and identity

  • No face recognition, pixel inspection, or automatic identity matching
  • Named-node coverage only; unsupported custom nodes need manual review
  • An image input can be flagged without Pluribus knowing whether it contains a person
  • No manual override for a normalized AI action in the panel yet

Graphs and media

  • No graph, prompt, model, or media upload through the plugin
  • No storyboard, character-sheet, render, or video generation
  • No claim that an empty scan proves no person is represented
  • No automatic capture of work performed outside the active graph

Rights and transactions

  • No contracts, e-signature, payments, or legal advice
  • No automatic authority determination
  • No automatic rights approval or Cleared state from a recipient response
  • Compensation and exclusivity must be made explicit even when handled in another system

Workspace and review

  • Self-serve setup creates an individual workspace
  • The panel does not yet offer an invited-organization picker
  • Internal review can be read in ComfyUI but cannot be completed there
  • Each workflow must acknowledge the current project scope against its own manifest

Release-specific coverage

Performance, email placement, retry behavior, and the workflows exercised in a controlled rehearsal vary by release. Read the v0.4.0-rc.2 notes before relying on the current candidate.

These limits are not a substitute for testing the exact nodes, environment, people, scope, and handoff path used by your production.
